Hi,
All well here in Annaharvey, though the days seem to be flying by with Christmas just around the corner & autumn well & truly behind us.
We are settled into the winter now with horses clipped, rugs on & all the sheds full - only a couple of barren mares left out in the fields, and the weaned foals.
The school horses are all glad to be in their nice warm sheds with the few exceptions of Jasmine, Beanie & Jack who have been confined to "Fat Camp" - the individual stables on the way down to the arena - hopefully they will lose some weight & feel a bit more energetic!
The indoor league is going very well with good competition - Sandra from Germany has been putting them under pressure for the past 3 weeks so it will be interesting how every one gets on now she has returned home!
We are busy getting ready for Santa's Farm these days with Sam & Aaron transforming the front courtyard into a Fairy land complete with Rapunzels' Tower, the Yellow Brick Road, the 3 Little Pigs house & Humpty Dumptys' wall - great excitement for us as well as our visitors we hope.
The usual waft of Christmas is coming from the kitchen - cakes, plum puddings, mince pies are all being prepared & packaged for the hampers - tomorrow we are making cranberry sauce & steaming the last of the puddings - Barbara is back for a few days helping - she has returned from her year in Australia & it is great to have her company again
That's about it for now, thank you for taking the time & interest to read this & all our other news letters in this past year, we very much appreciate all the friends Annaharvey has supporting us in so many ways - we wish you all an early Happy Christmas & may the New Year be a safe & healthy one for all
With every best wish
Lynda, Henry, and all of us here in Annaharvey Farm
